En Seine-Saint-Denis, département traditionnellement ancrée à gauche, au second tour on a massivement voté pour François Hollande.
Ce département avait déjà mis François Hollande en tête au premier tour de l'élection présidentielle, et au second tour les habitants de Seine-Saint-Denis ont récidivé en votant massivement pour le socialiste, avec plus de 100 000 voix d'avance sur son rival de la droite.
